Crystal Jemond was born and raised in the California Bay Area. She went to college in Sacramento and now works as a librarian in Utah. In the past five years, she’s lived in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. She’s a free spirit who likes to move around a lot, but she’s still a California girl at heart. Someday, she might move back. Then again, maybe not.

In 2007, she completed her first young adult novel called The Misadventures of Supersize Girl about a plus sized teen who finds out she has the greatest powers of any superhero on Earth. And she’d better learn to use them…fast.
